Pod Snowsports is an international ski/snowboard school in the heart of Snow Country named “Echigo-Yuzawa.”

We are a small team of instructors with rich experience who have taught worldwide.
You will be welcomed like a friend, and You can learn about culture and customs only experienced in Japan.
We are the official ski and snowboard school in Yuzawa Kogen, but we also offer lessons in all ski resorts in/around Yuzawa.
Have a delightful stay in Japan while you provide lessons to our VIP customers, and after the season, go for an unforgettable trip to Japan with heavy wallets as one of the ideas.

What we require:

• Applicants must hold a CSIA/CASI, NZSIA, APSI Level-1 or equivalent qualification.
• You must be under 30 years old and eligible to apply for a Japanese Working Holiday Visa.
• If you are unable to obtain a Working Holiday Visa, you must meet one of the following requirements for a work visa application:
  ・Be a skier with a CSIA, NZSIA, or APSI Level-2 or higher qualification and possess a certification card stamped by the International Ski Instructor Association.
  ・Have a total of 36 months or more of ski or snowboard instructing experience since becoming a ski or snowboard instructor. (A university degree is a plus.)
• You must maintain professionalism in both appearance and behavior at all times.
• You must be able to manage yourself and your clients in sometimes difficult mountain environments.
• You must respect the local community and your fellow instructors.
• Be open to a whole new and exciting style of ski school.

• Pay rates: 3,000JPY~3,500JPY per lesson hour
