and the LINK
GALA Ski Resort areas are connected through Sancho Gondola. Yuzawa Kogen can be accessed through Sanroku Ropeway and Sancho Gondola. Yuzawa Kogen alone will not be enough for expert skiers and snowboarders therefore Yuzawa Snow Link is recommended where they will enjoy skiing and snowboarding on three ski resorts.

Yuzawa Kogen has three areas: Kogen area (for Novice ~ Intermediate Level), Family Geländ (for first timer) and Nunoba area (for Beginner ~ Novice). You can freely choose an area according to each level.
At the world’s largest ropeway
above the clouds
Without having to do skiing and snowboarding, you can enjoy sightseeing at Yuzawa Kogen ropeway, boasted as the world’s largest ropeway. It is about 7-minute ride above the clouds. Please enjoy the contrasting view of the blue sky and white mountains.

10 minutes on foot from Echigo Yuzawa Station. There is also free shuttle buses with intervals of 5 to 15 minutes from the shuttle bus stop located in various locations in Yuzawa town.

The base station of Yuzawa Kogen has a gear rental corner, a ski and snowboard lesson counter, a cafeteria, a rest area, a locker room, and a hot spring facility. Upon arrival in Yuzawa, aim for this base station first. I am pretty sure you are waiting for help and information about your stay in Yuzawa town.
